A highly cost-effective, US-made 12 Fiber MTP/MPO cassette that operates within an LGX footprint and allows for the breakout to 12 LC connectors from a single MPO or MTP connector (male or female).
This cassette can ship with your choice of an angled polish connector or ultra polish connector ready LC adapters providing low insertion loss.

What’s inside a Megladon fiber distribution cassette?
Inside each cassette is a small 900um fan-out/breakout cable assembly, making use of a Corning fiber in a ribbon configuration to 12 LC connections which can then patch out into 12 LC connections in the front of the cassette, and a MTP/MPO 12 UPC connector on the rear of the cassette. This durable cassette can operate vertical or horizontal in a rackmount environment.
Megladon Manufacturing US-made MPO cassettes are an affordable solution to transfer from multi-fiber cables to fiber optic patch cables without the use of equipment, field terminations or the need to splice on pigtails. Our solution can reduce exposure to error and increase your network reliability with no compromise in performance.
Megladon fiber distribution cassettes are manufactured using only Corning fiber optic cable and are available in a wide range of optical modes: Singlemode OS2 (9/125um), Multimode OM1 (62.5um), Multimode OM3 (50um) and more. These cassettes are able to ship configured with a variety of standard industry connector interfaces including LC, LC/APC, SC, SC/APC, ST, ST/APC, FC, FC/APC, SMA, E2000 and many other fiber optic connectors.
All Megladon Manufacturing fiber distribution cassettes feature our patented HLC termination technology, 90 day warranty and can be configured in any pinout (male, female or unpinned) and polarity methods
Our cassette is designed & manufactured in Austin, Texas using Carbon M2 printer and their cutting-edge DLS™ additive manufacturing process.
